Regional Mobility Group, LLC (RMG) is certified as a Woman Owned Disadvantaged Business Enterprise in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Texas, and Tennessee in accordance with 49 C.F.R., Part 26. Located in Northeast Florida, RMG is also certified by the Jacksonville Transportation Authority as a Micro-Local Small Business Enterprise [LSBE/Micro-LSBE].
RMG was founded in July 2016 to help public agencies create seamless and friction-less multi-modal transportation access for all people, across all jurisdictional boundaries. RMG provides a regional perspective when designing person-centered mobility solutions. From large complex projects such as the Transit Concept and Alternatives Review (TCAR) 2 project for the Skyway System Expansion to small tasks for rural agencies such as the optimization of NassauTRANSIT’s scheduling procedures, RMG is known for helping agencies implement innovative mobility and technological solutions to transport people between their homes and their destinations on-time, economically and with dignity.
Her passion for transit was ignited during her award winning 11-year tenure at the Jacksonville Transportation Authority.
Liz has received many awards including:
- Collaborate Community Champion award from Trapeze Group for advocating for improved methods of peer information sharing and assisting with the development of a Trapeze user’s web-based communication portal.
- Industry Innovation & Leadership award from the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) for her work on TransPortal, a one-call/one-click transportation resource center and regional trip planning project in partnership with transit agencies in thirteen counties.
- Innovation of the Year award from Trapeze Group for using technology to develop a regional trip booking and scheduling system operated by seven providers in nine counties.
- Innovation of the Year award from the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged for innovative approaches in coordinating transit services in six counties.
- Excellence in Transportation from the Northeast Florida Regional Council for bringing together transit and planning agencies from six counties to create a Regional Mobility Coalition.
Some of her successful projects include:
- Developed, implemented and administered fourteen diverse deviated flex route (Community Shuttle) services in Duval County.
- Formulated and managed the Jacksonville Urbanized Area program management plan for administering regional grant programs which distributed over one million dollars to rural and small urban transportation providers in Northeast Florida in a fair and equitable manner.
- Obtained highly competitive federal grants to fund and led the implementation of a regional scheduling system and a regional multi-modal one-call/one-click transportation resource center.
- Convened transportation directors and planners from six different counties to create a regional mobility coalition whose mission was to coordination transportation services, minimize duplication and expand multi-modal opportunities throughout the region.
- Facilitated several editions of the locally developed, coordinated public transit-human services transportation plan. These plans were developed and approved through a process that included participation by seniors, individuals with disabilities, representatives of public, private and nonprofit transportation and human services providers and other members of the public utilizing transportation services.
Liz is very active in the community. She currently serves as Treasurer of Patriots Services Group, a nation-wide organization that offers at-risk veterans with permanent housing, independent transportation, and supportive services. She is also an active member and current Treasurer of the Northeast Florida WTS (Women’s Transportation Seminar) chapter and served as Chapter President from 2012 to 2015. She has been actively involved with the Florida State College at Jacksonville as a Business Advisory Committee member since 2018 and as a Federal Grant Selection Committee member for FDOT District 2 since 2008.
